Charmed, I'm sure!

Seems this young witch is charmed by this little winged kitty in a tree. What a magical pair of friends they make!

I work in a medical office and I had this pumpkin in our waiting room until just before Halloween. I was in the elevator on the way down to my car when a nice lady commented on how much her disabled daughter loved Harry Potter and all things witch and wizard. She wistfully said how much her daughter would have loved to have seen the pumpkin but she was at home that afternoon. Of course I immediately offered it to her and she was thrilled to take it home to her little girl. I love it when my pumpkins find a good home with someone who will really love and appreciate them!

Here Kitty Kitty

Hello Kitty goes trick or treat as a black cat! Meow!

Dark Tink

Tink goes dark for Halloween!

Jack x 3

 A trio of Jack Skellington
faces...

from Happy...

to Fierce...

to Sheepish...

I actually used white spray paint to coat these little sugar pumpkins with a minimum of work. It gave the pumpkins an interesting, almost rubbery surface to paint the faces on.

The Pumpkin King

Jack Skellington, in fine form as The Pumpkin King! What would happen if you reach out and take that pumpkin he is offering you? Not sure I want to know...

In The Yard

A silhouette graveyard scene. That cat looks a little wicked!

Nightmare Hug

Is there better love than Jack and Sally's? I never thought Jack looked cuddly but this looks like a nice cuddle.

Deer and Magic

I love the idea that there are nature spirits out there living in harmony with everything that surrounds them. I think that's what I was thinking when I painted this lovely girl. The horns on her forehead mirror the horns of the deer behind her, and her buckskin outfit is trimmed in leaves.

This was the first time I ever attempted painting birch trees. I like the spare look of birch, don't you? So pretty in the winter chill!

This picture isn't the best, too much glare on the painting but it's the best picture I have of this pumpkin. If anyone knows how I can get a good photo of a shiny pumpkin without the glare I'd love to hear from you!

Nevermore

I found a cool image of a kind of Steampunk raven so I painted my own version, complete with clock work wings and springs for legs. I think it came out awesome!
